2. Red fort



The famous Red fort was built by shah jahan in 1643 and it was made in 9 years by 1000 workers approximately. It is situated in old Delhi which used to be called as Shajanabad in the ancient time. It has been declared as world heritage site in 2007.

Gurudwara bangla sahib is known for its association with 8th guru ,Guru harakishanji. Inside the main building cameras are strictly prohibited. One can capture the moment only outside the main building.

One can not enter the gurudwara along with their shoes or with uncovered head. So before entering the gurudwara bangla sahib each and everyone remove his shoes, cover their heads and wash their hands. Akshardham Temple is also known as world's largest hindu temple and has been listed in Guinness book of world records in 2007. This was the first time when a hindu Temple is included into the Guinness book of world records.

5. Humayun's Tomb

To see this beautiful ancient piece of art one can reach there either by bus, cab or metro.
The nearest metro to reach Humayun's Tomb is Jawahar Lal Nehru metro station which is 2 km away. Humayun's Tomb is built in area approximately 30 acres. Inside the main building there are multiple graves such as Hamida begum and Dara shikoh . It represents Mughal architecture along with Charbagh garden, a typical example of mughal garden.

6. Qutub minar




Qutub minar is a valuable structure of the country and is a part of qutub complex which was declared a UNESCO world heritage site. It is entirely made of Red sandstone and white marble. The minar is 73 meters high and consists of 5 stories. And to reach over the top there are 379 steps. 

The construction of Famous Qutub minar was initially started by Qutubuddin aibak  around 1200 AD and was renovated by his slave and son in law Iltutmish. Afterwards the Minar war destroyed by thunder bolt and was built galin by Feroz shah tughlaq. Qutub minar was constructed on the name of sufi saint Kwaja qutubuddin bakhtiar kaki.

7. Rashtrapati bhawan



The Rashtrapati bhavan is a Residence of the president of india and was earlier known as viceroy's house.
