1. Upward plank (purvottanasna)

How to do:
  • Just sit with straight legs.
  • Keep behind your hips, fingers should point towards the toes.
  • Now start rising slowly with straight legs.
  • Pull your head back while raising.
  • As you exhale come back to sitting position. 


2. Warrior pose (virabhadrasana)

 


This pose is useful to give strength to your arms, shoulders, thighs, back muscles in just one go. Also improves balance and increases stamina.
 
How to do:
  • Stand with legs apart at least of 3-4 feet.
  • Turn your right feet out by 90 degree and left feet in by 15 degrees.
  • Lift both your arms sideways to shoulder height with your palm facing upwards and parallel to the ground. 
  • Breakout and bend your right knee 90 to the ground. 
  • Turn your head and look right side.
  • Come into the rest position and repeat. 

3. Boat pose (Navasana)





It strengthens abdominal, hip flexors, prostate, thyroid and intestine. Also improves digestion. It is a whole body exercise, torn up your core strengthens muscle.


How to do:
  • Sit straight with extended legs on the floor. 
  • Now bend your knees and rise your feet up the floor, your shins should be parallel to the floor. 
  • Extend your hands straight towards feet.
  • Hold the position for 30 seconds.
  • Release and repeat it 5 times.

4. Sun salutation poses (suryanamaskara)





A very popular pose in India and also around the world helpful to reduce fat from complete body. Around 12 poses which tones the complete body. Practice them one by one if you are facing problems to practice them together. Once you do it believe me you will see some drastic changes into your body. 

How to do:
  • Stand straight on your feet. 
  • Lift your arms and inhale deeply. 
  • Bend forward and exhale. 
  • Now jump backwards into a plank position. 
  • Start stretching yourself.
  • Hold the position for 5 breaths. 
  • Now drop the knees down and place your lower body to the floor. 
  • Now inhale halfway to turn into the cobra pose .
  • Switch to downward dog facing pose.
  • Similarly hold it for 5 breaths. 
  • Now inhale and lift up your arms overhead. 
  • Now exhale and relax. 

5. Triangle pose (Trikonasana)





Those who are suffering from harnia should consult a doctor before practicing this pose.
This pose strengthens knees, thighs, ankles. It stretches thorax, hips, knees, inguinal region, ankle, calf and shoulder. A beneficial yoga pose for several health issues. It continuously improves digestion and improves metabolism. 

How to do:
  • Stand with feet widely apart of about 4 feets.
  • Lift your hands parallel to the ground. 
  • Now stretch yourself sideways and  touch right feet with right hand and the other hand should face the roof , vertically upward. 
  • Hold the position for 5-6 seconds 
  • Now repeat it with other side. 

6. Cobra pose (Bhujangasana)




This pose is commonly performed in the poses of sun salutations. It is useful to strengthen vertibral columns. It has so many benefits for your wrist, arms, shoulders and back muscles and also useful for abdominal muscles and fat loss. It is often said that this pose can cause back pain but the truth is that if is performed properly and correctly than it does not cause any problem. In this pose your chest and spine is stretched and becomes more flexible and opens up your heart. 

How to do:
  • Lie down facing the floor with feet flat and palms down. 
  • Now press the floor with both of your hands.
  • Only your hand, feet and thighs touching the ground. 
  • Keep your chin upward. 
  • Do it 3 to 4 times for better results.

7. Chair pose (Utkatasana)





A very useful pose for fat loss specially around your belly and thighs. Also improves the posture of the body. 

How to do:
  • Stand straight with your legs together and arms straight upwards. 
  • Now bend both your knees and form a position like a chair.
  • Now hold the position as much as you can. 
  • For better results try to hold the position for longer time and increase the sets.

8.Downward facing dog pose (Adho mukha svanasana)





It stretches the complete body and reduces fat around the body, also strengthens legs and arms. 

How to do:
  • Lie on the floor facing downward.
  • Now start stretching your hips above the ground with hands and legs staying on the floor like a mountain. 
  • Hold the position for some time. 
  • Rest and repeat 5 times a day. 

9. The gas releasing pose (pawanmuktasana)




It is also one among the following poses helpful to reduce body fat. It releases gas from the stomach and soothes the digestion. It strengthens the abdominal and provide flexibility. 

How to do:
  • Lie down on the mat facing the sky.
  • Now start moving your first knee towards stomach. 
  • Now try to touch your knee by the nose .
  • Similarly repeat with the other knee.
  • Hold the position for few seconds. 
  • Now practice with body knees together.

10. Seated forward bend pose                (Pashchimottasana)





You have generally seen this pose performed in parks or even performed before since this is the most common yoga pose to reduce body fat. This pose provide some intense stretch to your entire back, hips, shins etc.

How to do:
  • Sit on the floor with your legs straight on the floor. 
  • Now try to touch your feet with hands without lifting your knees, your legs should be grounded, stretch as much as you can. 
  • With bending exhale deeply. 
  • Now come to the rest position as inhale. 
  • As you exhale again try to touch your feet.
  • In the beginning it could be tough for you to touch the feet but slowly you will reach there.
