Full day INDIAN diet plan for weight gain (MEN and WOMEN)

 



People nowadays are looking for the easiest methods to either gain the weight or get rid of it. In this blog we will discuss the diet plan for weight gain. So friends, If you are pushing yourself to gain some kilograms but are unable to do so than this blog is for you only.

Form the beginning of the day till night what should you include in your meal so that you can grow yourself? We will discuss meal by meal plan for the complete day to gain weight.

Well there are abundance of options that you can consume again and again to buff yourself up and we are going to discuss all of them in this blog. The diet plan is very easy and practical and practicing this diet you may observe visible results in just 15 days. So take your pen and paper and start of your diet plan.


First thing: Drink water



The diet begins with the consumption of a little amount of water just you wake up in the morning. Just sip 2-3 glasses of plain water slowly without mixing anything in it. Well you can have plain water but warm water will give you more benefits.

Breakfast:


Instead of overeating Ayurveda teaches us to eat the right combination of foods at the right time to gain weight fast. Like I would suggest Milk dalia for the breakfast and along with dalia there are so many options that you can consume in your breakfast such as.

  • Dalia roasted in ghee and seasonal vegetables
  • Moong daal dosa
  • Paranthas with curd or butter
  • Whole wheat bread sandwich with vegetables or potatoes
  • And if you consume eggs in your diet than you can also include few more items such as
  • Chickpeas spinach egg bhurji
  • Plain parantha with egg bhurji or omelette



There is only one thing that you have to keep in mind that you should prefer only whole grains that’s it, nothing else such as refined eggs.

Mid day snack:




Well fruits are the best suiting options for this time of the day whether it can be mangoes, bananas or dates. And other options that you can try 

  • Banana shake or Mango shakes
  • Banana peanut butter chapatti
  • Boiled chickpea chaat
  • Sprouts

All the above food items are healthy and easily available at your doorstep or nearby market.  The fruits may be seasonal according to your taste and in summers the variety of shakes will get you hydrated for the complete day.

Lunch:




Now let’s talk about lunch which is easy to follow you do not have to consume any fancy item just eat home cooked food. You can eat chapatti along with rice or some seasonal curry or daal(pulses).

There is a simple method according to ayurveda that says eat chapatti along with rice in a single meal. I assure you that will change your body drastically and sooner you will find a noticeable change in your body. So never forget to cook rice every day.

There is one more important thing that, add ghee in each of your meal every day. So put 1 tablespoon of ghee in your food to avoid the dryness.

There are various food dishes that you can enjoy in your lunch in terms of gaining size and few of them are listed below.

  • Chole
  • Kaali daal (Black lentil)
  • Rajma ( Beans)
  • Kale chane ( Black chickpeas)
  • Jackfruit
  • Paneer
  • If you consume non vegetarian food than you can also add egg curry, chicken or fish in your food.

And after finishing your lunch you must end your meal by having a glass of butter milk along with a little seasoning of black pepper and cumin seed. The butter milk instantly cools the digestive track and it is must for the people who have weak digestion.

Evening snack:




This is the most disastrous and dangerous time of the day because this is the time which is most difficult to follow any sort of a diet. We easily engage with the people at this time and offer ourselves the wrong food items. Now some people might think that these items are rich in fiber and it will gain you some weight but that would not be a healthy weight gain and only your tummy will get bigger.

Now let’s talk about what to eat. Well here are some healthy options.

  • 2-3 handfuls of roasted chickpeas
  • 1 Handful unsalted roasted peanuts
  • Any seasonal fruit
  • Shakes
  • Whole wheat bread peanut omelet
  • Dalia

 

After that a little amount of workout is necessary after all this food since it is going to be little difficult for some people to digest all this stuff. Little walk, some weight training will definitely do. This will break the muscle fiber and your body will start to glow.

Dinner:




Well there is nothing special for dinner I guess. All the things that we discussed for lunch can be followed. The chapatti and rice together is must with any other vegetable and it will be sufficient for the day.

There are few things that you should keep in mind and first thing is that the dinner should be little light as compared to lunch.

Add black pepper, bay leaf while making rice.

Do not consume extremely cold natured food in your dinner since your body will fail to digest food as the digestive power is already low at this time of the day.

1 tablespoon of ghee is mandatory.

And at last before going to bed you can add almond milk or ashwagandha powder mixed milk. And in place of ashwagandha you can add honey, ghee, turmeric and mishri (Rock sugar). Ayurveda recommends buffalo milk and milk products for weight gain faster.



So guys this was all about weight gain tips and I promise you that you might notice visible results in just 15 days but don’t stop practice this diet for at least 3 to 4 months and you will be satisfied.
