Friends in this blog I will share with you some quick ways to lower body heat instantly due to which you often face few health related problems in your daily life you ignore them very easily and you don’t care but gradually they become a big problem by the time you take them seriously.

These problems may be such as –

  • Acne

All of these problems you face because of excessive heat consumption in your body which you don’t understand. No matter what product you use, If you don’t remove this heat out of your body you can never get rid off with these problems permanently. So during this summer how will you beat this heat and feel cooler and fresher. So I will share some quick ways to lower the heat during this summer.

Friends in a country like India where summer is the longest season amongst the other seasons in the most regions of India the heat can be a huge problem. Our body might get heated externally as well as internally. This is also called Pitta Dosha according to Ayurveda.

Apart from the environmental changes there more factors are there which can increase our body temperature such as

  1. Stress
  2. Alcohol
  3. Smoking
  4. Anger
  5. Wrong eating habits 



So what to do in such circumstances, don’t worry friends here are some quick ways to lower body heat instantly.

1. Food is medicine




As the heading suggests that you have to choose your food wisely and wisely means to choose the food that helps to cool down the body temperature as there are many food items that we eat without any concerns that what impact it will make on our body. Now you might have start thinking what food you should pick to cool down your body heat.

Just avoid very salty, spicy and sour food because they increase body temperature except Amla (Indian gooseberry) and Lemon since they are cooler in nature.




So if your body seems heated already than just reduce chilies, spices, eggs and meat. Also stop eating from packets that contain preservatives such as biscuits, snacks and all.

On the other side sweet and bitter food are useful to cool down the body temperature. So you can enjoy sweets in the summer but not all the sweets which are sold into the market. You can eat hoe made sweets which includes natural sugar or Mishri (rock sugar) since it is a great cooling agent. Don’t eat those sweets that are made with chemically processed sugar.

Drink a lot of water in daily life and by drinking water I don’t mean refrigerated water, you can use mud pots.



Prefer those fruits that have high water content like

  1. Watermelon
  2. Pumpkin
  3. Muskmelon
  4. Bitter guard
  5. Bottle guard



 Remove refined oil and start using ghee in your daily diet.

2. Sandalwood Paste




Sandalwood or we can say Chandan has been used in ancient India for its miraculous cooling properties to heal bruises and scars.

  • You just need sandalwood powder and a little rose water.
  • Than mix it well and make a paste of it.
  • Then apply it on your forehead.


It calms the body and mind and also nervous system.

It also has a power to enhance concentration.

And in case you face some skin issues such as rashes, pimples or itching than apply the paste on them also, it will definitely help.

3. Shithali(cooling) Breath


Shithali breath or cooling is a technique through which you can instantly cool your body from inside.

  1. Sit comfortable with your back straight
  2. Keep both of your hands on your knees
  3. Bring your tongue our and fold it on the sides like a tube
  4. Take a long deep inhalation through the tongue
  5. After the inhalation close your mouth and exhale with both the nostrils.
  6. Repeat in 8-10 times

You can also practice it on a chair

Believe me you will feel the cooling instantly when you do it so please give it a try.

4. Rice Water




  1. Take 10gm of rice and pound it coarsely and make it granular
  2. Then put them into a mud pot in case you don’t have a mud pot you can use glassware
  3. Then add 60-70 ml of normal water into it and cover it for 4-6 hours
  4. Filter it in a glass and drink

Caution:

  • Do not store it in a refrigerator.
  • Don’t use ice or cold water.

Have it empty stomach or 30 minutes before meals and you may drink it twice a day with maximum serving of 60 ml a day.

Rice water is rich in vitamin B and effective for ulcers.

It is an instant cooler as mentioned in ancient texts which treats

  1. Acne
  2. Grey hair
  3. Hair fall
  4. Acidity
  5. Diarrhea
  6. Bleeding nose
  7. Urine pain
  8. Blemishes

5. Hydrotherapy





  1. Fill a water bucket to half of its capacity
  2. Now add 7-8 ice cubes into it to get it slightly cooler
  3. Then add a little rose water
  4. Now dip both of your feet into the water for 10-15 minutes
  5. You might also massage your feet once a while.

Cold foot bath instantly cool the whole body as the veins in our body all the way down to our feet are connected and remove all the toxins from the blood. With hydrotherapy blood flow also increases and though this technique the heat lowers very rapidly.

So it is very effective solution for cooling down your body. Not only your mind will get peaceful but also your body will cooler and you will feel fresh.

You can practice it anytime but doing it at night before going to sleep will be more effective. It will not only cool down your body but also will help you to sleep well. I would suggest you to try it once.
